I can understand why Knute has no knowledge of what went on in the class on Monday. That was just too much distraction.
Most understandable. Why bother with leaves when you have flowers? :D
Plants can make food from air, water and sunlight. Why haven’t we been able to figure out how to do that? With a huge portion of the world’s population starving, that would be a very good thing to know.
I’d take that for an excuse any day! (Snort, pant, wheeze!)
The strip is tilted again— that seems a bit deliberate.
I think Knute had a valid excuse this time. After all first things first.
