My thought from today’s snippet of Our Town is that someone in this story will probably end up dead, not that that would ever be a surprise in thus strip.
We’re watching from Backstage in the first panel. I believe the shadow on the right IS Tracy. The shadow of Vitamin is in the curtain, that’s the “Vitamin” we’re seeing
When I see a two panel day with basically no movement or action and basically don’t advance the story along, I think this has been stretched out like the last Minit Mystery. This story has had an excellent built up and has been quite intriguing. We had an interruption for a PSA yesterday and now we have to slowly chug up to speed again it seems.
i have no idea what the infatuation with this ridiculous play is, but i had thought we were done with it after the debacle that was the little doc mess
Our Town again. Any actor other than Vitamin Flintheart as the Stage Manager and I’d tune out. As it is, I suppose we can contextualize today’s two-paneller as being in some way premonitory. But it sure isn’t speeding the story along!
1- SUGAR DADDY: The audience will forgive the occasional blackouts I’m sure… 2- …we’ve only earned enough money to turn the lights on intermittently. I believe both of you will agree it adds to the solemnity of the material. No?

Good morning™, melancholy emcees !
Vitamin looks somber, sad and heavy of heart as he introduces the story.
