from soccer to “Sock her.”

That’s the way I played sports 3 generations ago. Somehow I was always last to be chosen.

Made me laugh. ;-)

When my son played soccer he pretty much played the same way, and then when my grandson played it seems that some of his best friends were on the other team and they would get together and chat and play instead of playing soccer. Kids. :)

I think she has her priorities in the right place.

She is paying attention to the important things. The world will not end because of some forgettable schoolyard game.

Gotta love peewee soccer.

I coached six year old girls in soccer. And in one of the first games, during a stoppage, all three of them were off the field playing Ring Around the Rosie.

Almost like my son, only different sport for small kids, he got very bored, could not run that great as his dad.

Had a tee ball player who drug his blankie into center field. The next season he was our best fielder at shortstop, stopping everything, sometimes with his chin. Didn’t bat an eyelash.

I was rarely not the Last Person chosen, but always close. There weren’t as many butterflies as I would have liked.
