A man was taking a truckload of penguins to their new home at the zoo, when his refrigerated truck breaks down. It’s a very hot day, and he’s worried that the penguins will succumb to the heat before he can get his truck repaired. Luckily, an ice cream wagon drives by, so he flags it down, gives the Good Humor Man $100, and says “Quick! Take these penguins to the zoo!” The ice cream man agrees, loads the penguins into his van, and drives off.
The next day, the man is driving his newly-repaired truck down the street, and as he stops at an intersection the Good Humor van pulls up next to him and he sees that it’s still full of penguins. He rolls down the window, and shouts to the other driver “Hey, I thought you were going to take the penguins to the zoo!” “I did,” says the ice cream man, “and we had such a great time that today I’m taking them to the ball game.”
