Marcie and Peppermint Patty walk beside the lake. Marcie asks, "Sir, how much further do we have to go?" Peppermint Patty says, "Stop calling me 'Sir' . . . The boys' camp is right over this hill . ."<BR><BR> The World War I Flying Ace looks between two trees. He thinks, "Here's The World War I Flying Ace down behind enemy lines . ." Peppermint Patty peers over a bush and shouts, "Snoopy!"<BR><BR> Marcie and Peppermint Patty run to The World War I Flying Ace. Marcie looks confused. Peppermint Patty shouts, "Hi, ol' buddy! How are you?"<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty hugs Snoopy and lifts him off the ground. Snoopy thinks, "Poor peasant lass . . Starved for love, she's fallen for my uniform!"<BR><BR>

I think Marcie realizes that Snoopy is not a funny-looking kid but actually a dog.
