I'd give you candy, and flowers, and jewelry, and books and record albums . ." Lucy says, ". . If you really liked me . ."<BR><BR> Schroeder repeats, "If I really liked you."<BR><BR> Lucy frowns and says, "Rats!"<BR><BR>

It’s not like he walks up and insults her cold, or anything. She keeps putting herself out there, inviting it.

He can be romantic, although I wish we could see that side of his character in the strips, if he were to be in a relationship with someone else that wasn’t Lucy, even if it was short lived
