I had a landlord that use to do that. He would sit in his chair using binoculars to watch tv. The tv was about a 50" and he was about 2 feet away from the tv. Fortunately, I convinced him to stop driving.

That’s big compared to the 5" screens I used to watch….

My monitor is larger than my first ‘console’ color TV! Good thing I had young eyes back then.

Great gams, lady, but I’m not so sure about your hair! :)

50 years ago when I was 14, we lived on the top of a hill in Placerville, CA. I had a telescope that I would use to look at the night sky through the big picture window in the living room that looked out over the valley. One day the TV blew the picture tube. So for the next month until we could afford to get the TV fixed, I would listen to the audio from our TV and look across the valley with my telescope to see who was watching the same show I was. One of the nice things about doing it this way was that we had a black-and-white TV but nearly everyone across the valley had color TVs. After the TV was fixed, I still watched some shows across the valley in color.
