Snoopy lies on the doghouse. Lucy says, "Here's The World Famous Skater doing his double axel . . Ha!"<BR><BR> Lucy continues, "Here's The World Famous Skater performing in the ice show . ."<BR><BR> Lucy shouts, "Ha!" Snoopy tumbles off the doghouse.<BR><BR> Snoopy lies in the snow next to the doghouse and thinks, "Those 'Ha's' are hard on a sensitive person . ."<BR><BR>

Panels 2 and 3 really show Lucy’s true nature: “Here’s the world famous skater performing in the ICE SHOW-HA!!! NOT!!! (thereby causing Snoopy to somersault off his doghouse.) Even though Snoopy had shown her his double axel earlier, seems he might as well have impressed her even more with a FIGURE EIGHT, to prove himself a worthwhile skating partner. That is of course, until he found out at the last minute he and Lucy were going to be performing in front of “real people” and chickened out.

Lucy in an undertone in Panel 2:”Here’s the world-famous skater performing in the ICE SHOW..” Panel 3:”(top of her lungs):HA!!! NOT!!!” thereby causing Snoopy to somersault off his doghouse.
