One time my husband & I saw some boys next to our driveway. We wanted to be sure they weren’t messing with our car; but if they weren’t, we weren’t going to “get off our lawn” them. In a friendly manner, we asked what they were doing. They said that they were looking for snakes, and they had actually caught one. They asked if we wanted to see it, and they pulled it out of their box & held it out to me (I guess they wanted to see the lady freak out). Their jaws just about hit the ground when I took the little grass snake, rubbed its little head, and had it slithering between my fingers!
let’s hope that he keeps that level of misogyny into his older years, as there isn’t a single girl who will give him the time of day once he’s in middle school
