Love the headline in the paper.

You mean it WAS milk!

Well, now it kinda of is ice cream

Ah, yes, the classic “ignore the suffering of your family to save money, so that you can ostensibly alleviate the suffering of your family with that money.”

Scrooge had a very small fire, but his clerk’s fire was so very much smaller, that it looked like one coal. But he couldn’t replenish it, for Scrooge kept the coal-box in his own room; and so surely as the clerk came in with the shovel, the master predicted that it would be necessary for them to part. Wherefore the clerk put on his white comforter, and tried to warm himself at the candle….

Maybe it’s time to buy some fresh milk.

There’s economical and then there’s cheap.

You use less energy if you raise the temperature of the refrigerator. That’s not icecream. That’s yogurt.

I am sure my family feels the same way. I pay all the bills, so I control the thermostat. We save money in the winter and spend it all and more in the summer.

false savings, not spending money on heat means the increased cost of laundry from all the clothes they have to wear, and even worse the medical expenses of the people who get sick from living in such cold conditions

I thought the milk went bad
