Sorry my back isn’t as good as it used to be so I can’t help move furniture any more. Honest response and you don’t get into a terrible job.

Several years ago we were getting ready to get off of a plane and a young woman asked my husband to get her bag from the overhead compartment. He started to do and I stopped him. I said if you hurt your back doing that, our vacation is ruined. It’s her bag, let her get it down. Sounds rude but honestly, I don’t care.

The correct answer to that question is a non-answer: “what do you have in mind?”
