Lucy smiles and says, "You never pay any attention to me, so I threw your piano up into a tree!"<BR><BR> Shroeder runs away and screams.<BR><BR> Lucy smiles and says, "I think he's beginning to notice me . . ."<BR><BR>

So, just for his constantly ignoring her, she threw his piano up into a tree—the INFAMOUS KITE EATING TREE, as it had turned out. Well, it would not be the last time she would try to get him to pay her “a smidge more attention,” by depriving him of his piano, and putting an end to it—the second time would be in fall 1974, when she threw his piano down a sewer.
