the guy who eats strange stuff on tv said scorpions taste just like lobster and yes cockroaches are a delicacy in Japan and China…insects and crustaceans both part of the Arthropoda family
I was at an open air market in Mae Hong Son, Thailand some years back. There were all sorts of foodstuffs to sample. I went down the market and sampled various insects. I drew the line at cockroaches. I was told they were delicious by the purveyors, but even with soy sauce, I couldn’t overcome the stomach churn…
