So, last year Linus was in Miss Othmar’s class but not with Charlie Brown. This year, Linus is still in Miss Othmar’s class, but with Charlie Brown. Maybe Charlie Brown went back a grade rather than Linus moving up one. (Or Miss Othmar could have changed grades and is now teaching those children of Charlie Brown’s perpetual age).

The kids age to be quite the same age in this comic. CB was about five when Linus were born, and Violet and Patty even older, and now everybody is in the same class!
