Charlie Brown and Linus stand in front of the baseball team. Charlie Brown says, "All right, team . . We're going to try a little experiment . . ."<BR><BR> Linus holds up a glass and smiles. Charlie Brown says, "Linus, here, has developed a new drink that will help us to win a few ball games . . . It's a balanced elctrolyte solution . . All the big teams are using it . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown continues, "I want everyone to line up over here . . . We'll pass the cup along the line . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy, Lucy, Five and Patty stand in line. Lucy looks at Snoopy and asks, "Can't you put him at the end of the line?"<BR><BR>

And then the whole team comes down with a virus and they’re out of competition for a week.

Besides being a doctor, seems Linus also would have made a good scientist—it’s as if he invented this beverage, through experiments in a laboratory. The question was, though—would it really work?
