Peppermint Patty stands behind Charlie Brown and says, "Hi, Chuck! I wanted to talk to you about that game we forfeited to you a couple of days ago . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty sit on the baseball bench. Peppermint Patty says, "A lot of our guys were sick, remember? Well, I could have come over and beat your team all by myself, but I didn't want to make a fool out of you . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "I'm that way, Chuck . . . Sort of compassionate, you know?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown sits on the bench alone and says, "It's hard not to appreciate such compassion!"<BR><BR>

Well, no she couldn’t, because at the very least, there have to be nine people on the field by regulations. Also, I have trouble believing she could play a whole field by herself, no matter how bad CB’s team is.
