Skungie? Peppermint Patty seems to have her own, unique slang terms. I wonder if Schulz was trying to get kids to start using slang words that they had no idea what they meant. I don’t.

Was “skungie” ever a real slang word in 1972? Apparently it was locally, Schulz probably picked it up from one of his kids.
