A billboard reads: "Now Showing 'Life Goes On'"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown watches Peppermint Patty, who is drinking from a water fountain.<BR><BR> "Do you think that things change as we get older, Chuck?" Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown lean against either sides of a tree.<BR><BR> "Well, my Dad has told me about this very nice theater that used to be in the neighborhood hwere he grew up..."<BR><BR> They are silhouetted. Charlie Brown continues, "When he was very small, the theater seemed huge, but as the years went by, the theater got narrower and narrower.."<BR><BR> No longer in silhouette, Peppermint Patty interupts: "Narrower and narrower? How could a theater get narrower and narrower?"<BR><BR> She turns around to face him: "Are you getting philosophical on me, Chuck?" Charlie Brown says, "Maybe there comes a time, when you get even older, when the theater becomes wide again..."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty resumes her former position and announces: "Girls don't like it wjhen a boy gets philosophical, Chuck." Charlie Brown walks away, saying, "I'm going home...I have a feeling that our backyard is shrinking..."<BR><BR>
