One rather "peculiar"thing I have noticed, at or around Halloween, in Peanuts, some years—NOT EVERY YEAR, while Peanuts was in production, did Linus await the Great Pumpkin—I happened to notice he did not, in 1972, 1978, or 1979, to name a few years, when he did not. I know the Great Pumpkin had not been introduced until 1959, but, still, I have happened to notice, that Linus did not await the Great Pumpkin, in the aforementioned years.

Well,Linus, anyone who has the mentality of, say, a mad scientist, or even a bogus fortune-teller, deserves to be alone, and even forsaken.
