Sally and Linus look at the sky. Snoopy and Woodstock stand behind them. Linus points and asks, "See that light in the sky?" Snoopy thinks, "The world is coming to an end!"<BR><BR> Linus continues, "That's the comet, 'Kohoutek.'" Snoopy and Woodstock wear a sack over their heads. Snoopy thinks, "When the world is coming to an end, you're supposed to put a sack over your head . . ."<BR><BR> Sally and Linus walk away. Linus says, "It's quite far from the earth now, but in fifteen days it will be only seventy-five million miles away . . ."<BR><BR> Woodstock and Snoopy lie flat on the ground with the sack over them. Snoopy thinks, Keep low!"<BR><BR>

I remember Kohoutek.

Kohoutek was originally said to be the big astronomical event of the century, almost, but didn’t live anywhere up to the hype. Through no fault of his own, Schulz jumped the gun on this one.
