Schroeder carried baseball equipment. As he walks, he says to Violet, who stands behind him, "The only time I hate being the catcher is when we go on the road!" Violet wonders, "I wonder if we're going the right way..."<BR><BR> Snoopy, Linus, Charlie Brown and Lucy are walking. Linus turns to ask, "How much farther, Charlie Brown?" Charlie Brown answers, "Only about two or three more blocks." Lucy says, "I hate being the visiting team!"<BR><BR> Marcie says, "They're here, Sir!" Peppermint Patty rushes forward. She says, "Hi, Chuck! Welcome to our neighborhood!"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty shake hands as Linus, Marcie and Snoopy watch. "We appreciate you coming over here with your team for the first game of the season..." "Thank you!" says Charlie Brown.<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty siggests, "Why don't you guys take the field for a little warm-up...then we'll start the game.." Charlie Brown agrees: "Okay, I'll hit 'em a few flies..."<BR><BR> A ball bounces behind Lucy, who stares as it sails overhead.<BR><BR> Charlie reprimands Lucy as she stares at the ball on the ground next to her: "Good grief, Lucy, you're going to have to do better than that!"<BR><BR> Lucy defends herself: "What did you expect? I'm suffering from jet-lag!"<BR><BR>

Schroeder doesn’t have a wagon? If the team has a jet, then they should have an equipment cart!

The good old days, with the freedom of being free-range kids. Though it does beg the question of why someone’s parent couldn’t have driven them.
