Ah, so the two storylines did run at the same time. I thought GoComics had mixed things up, what with all the missing strips.

At the time this came out, I thought Schulz must have really been at a loss for how to wrap up this arc. Even with the contrived situations that you expect, this didn’t make sense at all. How did Snoopy know where CB was or that he was in some kind of trouble, especially considering he typically takes the “round-headed kid” for granted? And lifting CB over his head and running away with him? Huh?
