He took back his airplane, and we couldn't finish the race . . ."<BR><BR> Peppermint Patty continues, "I paid him a dollar to rent his plane, and I can't even get my dollar back because he spent it all on cookies . . ."<BR><BR> Snoopy eats cookies and thinks, "Scarf city!"<BR><BR>

What a bizarre story line. I guess the town everyone in the strip lives in is within walking distance for a child from the summer camp and the Waffletown (or whatever the town was where Joe Shlabotnik was managing the Syrups) baseball stadium.
