Aren’t there one or two girls on the team besides Lucy? And her brother? And does this mean Charlie Brown would kiss her? (Actually, I bet he would if it meant she’d get focused on the game afterwards.) Do they actually have more players than they can field at once on that team?

Don’t forget Pig-Pen. The lineup right now is definitely Charlie Brown, Schroeder, Lucy, Linus, and Snoopy, and I think 5 and Frieda show up from time to time as well. Patty, Violet, and Shermy are almost certainly gone (which is interesting, given that they made up 75% of the strip’s original human cast).

So we have 5 boys – Charlie, Linus, Schroeder, Pig Pen and 5.Three girls – Lucy, Frieda, and Sally,and one dog – Snoopy. That makes nine.Why Charlie said seven other guys is strange.

The outfield used to be Lucy, Frieda, and I think either Violet or Patty, but for a while, Rerun was playing in the outfield. I don’t know if he’s still playing after his gambling troubles.

Point in her favour, at least she doesn’t go around kissing men she doesn’t want to marry.

But Snoopy is so sincere!

Charlie is like the most dumb manager ever, rather than stopping Lucy’s sexual harrassment over Schroeder. He just offers an alternative. Dude is so terrible. Also Lucy is dumb by not kissing Schroeder when he lost a bet, she missed her chance

Apparently Lucy was the only girl on the team at that time. So I guess the six other guys would be CB, Shermy, 5, Pig-Pen, Linus, and one more we haven’t seen. Wait a minute…she could kiss Linus? Bleah!
