Linus replies, "No, and I just don't understand it . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown says, "I thought Marcie was with you . . . What happened to Marcie?"<BR><BR> Linus replies, "Her parents came and got her . . She's being deprogrammed!"<BR><BR>

“I just don’t get it, CB, as to why I never saw the Great Pumpkin!” Yes, you do, Linus, because there IS no such being! Well, neither is Santa Claus for real, either, but then, that is TRADITIONAL FOLKLORE; the “Great Pumpkin”,on the other hand, is a folklore figure solely invented by Linus, and by him, alone, not something that had been handed down from generation to generation, unlike Santa.
