The dialogue here(and in the previous day’s strip)were heard later on, in the prime-time Peanuts TV special,“She’s A Good Skate, Charlie Brown,” only in the special, Snoopy DOES take care of the guys—I believe he knocks all of them down, and then uses something like a giant shovel, to get them all off the ice. You HAD to admire Peppermint Patty, even if she was a tomboy—hey, it SURE helped her stand up to people, who would give her a hard time, and for no reason. Like here, with what the guy is telling her:"Listen, Beautiful, GET your STUPID figure skates off the ice, so we can play hockey, all right? We have TEN hockey sticks here, telling you, to “GET OFF THE ICE! NOW!!!” But again,Peppermint Patty certainly is NO DOORMAT—no, not her.

Snoopy, you should be ashamed of yourself. You fought beside Peppermint Patty when she battled World War II, now you’re running out on her, as she’s being bullied.

Come on, Snoopy! Just use your coach’s voice on those kids.
