So,Linus, did it look like it was nice outside, when you looked out the window, like the TV announcer claimed it to be?

Y’know what this reminds me of? The “Bupkiss” episode of The Dick Van Dyke Show where he’s listening to the weather on the radio and the weather girl just keeps singing “weather weather weather weather” and never gets to the forecast, and by the time the actual forecast begins, his wife already looked out the window and saw that it was raining xD

One of a handful of strips where a character interacts with the TV, like the one where the screen asks Shermy “Why aren’t you in school?” or the one with Linus getting blown backwards by the volume of a used-car ad.
