Have you ever tried that?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown winds up and says, "I always talk to the ball when I'm pitching . . ."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown pitches the ball. Lucy asks, "Really? What do you tell it?"<BR><BR> Charlie Brown and Lucy look up in the air. Charlie Brown answers, "Good-bye!"<BR><BR>

Presumably referencing Mark “The Bird” Fidrych, although by this time Fidrych had suffered a few injuries and was rarely pitching.
