I know someone who has the opposite problem I have. His kids have moved out, they rarely call him, and do not share the values with which they were raised. Every time I get to thinking my kids need to move out, I also get to thinking, ‘things could be worse’. My kids and I communicate every day and they share our values, so I guess for me, doing pretty good..
