I used to know, work and have fun with people like Hobbes (back in the day when hand held devices had never been heard of and ya didn’t have your nose stuck in one all day). What’s really sad is most of those fun people are dying off (aging process); I hope they taught their grandbabies something other than electronics. Sidewalk chalk art is the first thing to come to mind :-)
Sorry to start something here but if the Tiger is only imaginary, why would anyone pretend to be hit in the face with a large enough snowball to knock you down?
On my granpa’s farm we used to have “rock fights.” Rocks being dirt clods. My older cousin would allow us to build a fort from which to fight. Another cuz and I would build an elaborate defensive position, sometimes digging tunnels to retreat into and to pop up from. From the start we were doomed. Dave the elder would lob high volleys. While looking up to judge the incoming he would strafe us chin high. We would retreat and he, free to roam, would re-position and pick us off as we popped up to see where he was. We always ended up covered in dirt and sometimes bloody. Good times.
