Snoopy sits in the living-room watching as Eudora and Charlie Brown play a board game on the floor.<BR><BR> Charlie Brown looks up at the clock and says,"Is it five o'clock already? I guess we should go..."<BR><BR> Snoopy and Charlie Brown stand in the foyer. The latter waves his hand to Eudora and says,"We've had a nice time today, Eudora." She replies,"Good...I'm glad you came."<BR><BR> She leans out of the door and calls,"Oh, Charles!"<BR><BR> She stands on the doorstep facing them and says,"My mother said to tell you that you have a very well-behaved dog..."<BR><BR> Charlie Brown replies,"Thank you....thank you very much...."<BR><BR> As Charlie Brown and Snoopy walk down the lane, the latter thinks,"The only time a dog gets complimented is when he doesn't do anything!"<BR><BR>

Eudora is such a trend setter – many years later, there will be quite a few teens and young adults wearing knit caps pretty much year round.

Eudora is among the few characters in Peanuts who call Charlie Brown by his full first name, Charles. Marcie is another example. Though it was the Goose Eggs (Austin, Ruby, Leland, and Milo) called him Charles first.

It’s not true that dogs only get compliments when they do nothing. A dog digging up my garden and finding a burried treasure would definitely get a compliment for that.

Eudora is an interesting girl. She and Marcie call Charlie Brown ‘Charles’.
