    T, rexes lived in the Cretaceous period, not the Jurassic. Just one of the many, many things that the movie got wrong. (Velociraptors, for example, were a lot smaller than shown, and had feathers. And were also from the Cretaceous-.)

    Correct. The Jurassic era was so warm that the planet lacked polar ice caps.
