I am NOT Hispanic, but I’d like to know what do Marigolds have to do with Día de los Muertos.

OK, people. Reality check. If it weren’t for “cultural appropriation” we’d all still be living in caves and trees. Someone has a good idea, other people copy it. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

I’m an anglo and I love the art of Dio de los Muertos, I try to be respectful and would never think of wearing a costume but I have collected some figurines

Please can we just get over this so called “cultural appropriation”? If you have a great idea, wouldn’t you want someone to admire it? I know most of the Mexican restaurants in our area are hispanic owned, so would you like them to close because no one cared for their food? Watch what you ask for, you might regret it.
