    Our county just banned them. I just have to remember to bring in my shopping bags from the trunk of my car when I shop. But I always brought my plastic bags back to the store for recycling.

    Connecticut charges 10 cents a bag if you want one. Most people don’t .

    I keep the reusable bags in the car, then I go to the store and half way into shopping I remember the bags, park my cart and go out and get the bags. There is some cursing involved as well.

    The pacific plastic patch is composed 60% of old fishing nets and fishing gear that are discarded by deep sea fishermen.
