Mark your times before taking them in for a rotation and before paying the fee look to see if they have indeed been rotated. Also not a bad idea to put a mark on your oil filter before getting an oil change just to occasionally check the honesty of the business. You might be surprised.
Tires last a lot longer if rotated like they are supposed to be, from one axle to another. They also tend to wear out about the same time instead of one at a time.

Well, he did. The tires did rotate.

Ralph is the bigger nimrod, for trusting Norm to do that job in the first place. (Though if Ralph had done it, something ELSE would have gone wrong).

You got off lightly, Ralph!

Imagine there’s no heaven
It’s easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today
Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will live as one

I could see Norman think this means he takes a wheel off, turns it over, and puts it back on in the same place.

Well, turning them inside out would’ve been too much trouble.

A few French fries short of a Happy Meal, that Norman …

How did the tires “rotate” without the car moving?
