Not only is Marigold’s eyesight failing. Her memory is starting to fail too. Much of the time she still seems quite young. She certainly seemed young when she met her parents and tried to rebel against them this summer.
So similar to this one time my mom was on her cellphone talking to someone, and at a certain point in their conversation she says she needs to look something up…on her phone so phone still firmly attached to her ear she turns around and says “guys have you seen my phone?”
I think this is the first time I’ve seen them going over the ears on a pony/unicorn, which is realistic for their staying on, but I guess doesn’t look as good as the normal convention of the sidepieces being horizontal below the ears…

Even though I wear glasses, I’ve admittedly never had this problem. If they aren’t over my eyes, they’re not on my personage at all.
