Went to high school with a guy who played football from freshman through senior year. He had size, pretty good player, he could have played small-college football. He became the college’s first male cheerleader instead.
When you have a 27-6 lead in the third quarter, isn’t it the coach’s job to give the star running back (who’s missed 2 weeks with an injury) a rest and let the backup gain some game time experience? Oh, right – “coach’s job” is an oxymoron, at Milford.
So is a side effect of getting blowtop mad also getting blowtop bat-sh** crazy? What the hell is he doing in P1? I think in the next game Chance should run the Tip Nunn play to get into the endzone.
In all reality, Chance busts a move doing the Happy Dance. Look Coach now I want to be in with the In Crowd , I’m going to the Bucket tonight to make up for lost time.
P3 – Good to see Milford continuing the tradition of arm raising and fist pumping for 10 minutes following a win or even a touchdown.
So now that Chance has proven he’s a good teammate (why that was even necessary makes no sense), time to get back to crazy Chet and the rest of his scheme to get Chance benched, due to, um, what he did in second grade? Yeah, should be a great plan.
And speaking of plans, plan to read today’s Mopped Up Thorp. In fact, why not do it right now while it’s still fresh.
P1- …that’s a hell of a flouncy, mincing little jig that Miss Macy is doing!
P3- Gil with the Sandusky-like shower recruitment speech. “be a teammate” is code for “hold my loofah”. Note Gil’s firm shoulder clasp to show who is boss

I’d say faking an injury to trick your coach into playing your backup sooner than he’d planned makes you more of a manipulative teammate.

I can’t think of a high school coach who’d be cool with his starter unilaterally deciding to fake an injury so the backup could get rebs.

P1, And just like that Chance decides to quit football and become a cheerleader.
P2, Why is 40 giving us the finger?
P3, But you do have to join everyone in the showers to be a good teammate.

Variety Wednesday.
P1- Wynn and Wendy Wiley would be so proud. What’s next, a pirouette?
P2- Chance has a lot going on. EES, bobblehead and a right craw hand shovel.
P3- A Mudlark victory is not complete without Fist Pump Family team members celebrating.

P1: Chance gets to drive home in a 1982 Toyota Tercel. “Oh What a Feeling!” indeed.

Charlie is obviously on medication that keeps him from being ‘blowtop’. Perhaps he accidentally took more than was prescribed today.

Is he a good teammate if his teammates don’t know it ??May be a better teammate to the other team: not allowing Gil to run up the score.
