We get a number of inquires from folk wanting to use our facility, who refer to their dog as a service animal, but is obvious when they arrive that the dog is anything but.
Which is odd, considering we’re right upfront with our open pet policy. So long as it’s not a (full-sized) horse, or an elephant.
I suppose that it goes hand in hand with the folk who tells us that they don’t have an email address. Just say that you’d rather not give it out. In our field, you almost cannot exist without an email address. It’s probably not a good idea to start off by obviously lying to your creditor.
What I laugh at are the people who go to extremes with “support animals”. Since when does a spider, a goldfish, an alligator, or a buffalo become a “support animal”? The idea has lost all meaning and people use that tag to take these unusual animals where ever they please including airplanes and into restaurants. There should be a limit on what constitutes a support animal.

You know June’s decorating the house for Thanksgiving too. If she didn’t already last month.

I don’t think I’ve ever come across a dressed up dog, that didn’t have the face Wally has in the last panel…

Sadly, the service dog label is misused by many.

All of the the other doggies will laugh at him and they won’t let him join in any doggy games.

If June is going to make Wally wear a pilgrim costume, she should wear a turkey one.

what kind of service does the Pilgrim Uniform represent?

I don’t know. I think there’s some dignity to that outfit, compared to say a turkey outfit. I’m not sure Wally agrees though.

Would “PETA” feel alright using dogs to service humans?
