Wouldn’t surprise me. Only the most gullible would believe they have the DNA of some royalty from 500 years ago (or even a hundred). Yes, I know if they have access to some part of a person who lived many years ago, they may find a shared chromosome. But them having access to that DNA (even that from some known descendant), is very, very remote.

Damn why didn’t I think of this scam first!

Even if they’re still alive and the judge is forcing them, you’ll never get your hands on their DNA. Just ask Delphine Boël.

They also sell time shares in Florida.

If you go back enough generations, everyone is likely descended from some kind of royalty.
