She’s giving good advice, but too bad it’s falling on deaf ears.

If it were not for deadlines, nothing would ever get done.

90% of the work is done in the last 10% of the time.

Could be the typing is nonsensical as she is plopping her hands on the keyboard.

So does Peter get his study habits from Andy?

Andrea, you’re mom’s not being that annoying! She is not the problem – YOU are. What is the root to this animosity?

If it weren’t for deadlines, very little would get done. Besides… the pressure of deadlines helps focus one’s efforts.

Andy would have plenty of time to write her column if she let her mom do some of the work, but her obstinacy won’t allow anything so sensible.

Who rejects caffeine on a deadline?

It seems that her mom’s passive-aggressive behavior is what drives Andy crazy.
