When this was adapted into a 1985 episode of “The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show,” Peppermint Patty slipping and falling on the ice in her sheep costume served as Sally’s cue. And Linus was also in the Christmas play, forced to sing “Jingle Bells” (adapted from the 1963 Christmas pageant arc). But when this arc was adapted into 1992’s “It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown!” it was more faithful.
