Peppermint Patty looks up at a monument that reads,'Neither A Borrower Nor A Lender Be' (Shakespeare).<BR><BR> She sits in class in front of Marcie, writing at her desk. Marcie says,"For loan oft loses both itself and friends" She asks,"What?"<BR><BR> She reaches behind her and says,"Let me borrow your ruler, Marcie..."<BR><BR> Marcie holds out her hand and says,"As soon as you give my pen back" Peppermint Patty turns around and says,"If I give your pen back, I won't have any use for the ruler..."<BR><BR> She grimaces as Marcie raises her hands in the air and exclaims,"Sure, you need my pen to draw lines with my ruler on the ten sheets of paper you borrowed from me!"<BR><BR> She turns and looks at Marcie as the latter starts scooping up school equipment from her table. Marcie says,"Here, why don't you take my eraser, my notebooks, my colored pencils,, my comb, my lunch...."<BR><BR> She throws everything at Peppermint Patty, who flinches as they hit her. Marcie shouts,"TAKE EVERYTHING I HAVE!!!"<BR><BR> Covered in Marcie's school equipment, Peppermint Patty asks,"Do we have time for a garage sale, Ma'am?"<BR><BR>
