If Tracy is the second intended victim, Sam is also with him. The first target, presumably the car on the left, is also in the loading zone. The puzzle continues.
Why would Sam, and, Tracy being using a marked car? It’s bad enough that if you look closely enough, you can tell when a unmarked car is a police vehicle.
From what Mike Curtis posted Friday on the Dick Tracy Fan Page on Facebook, Sunday is a big day: “…we meet two familiar faces in DICK TRACY as our crossover kicks in. Who is it that Splitface is trying to kill besides Tracy?…It will be a large surprise.”
1-SLIM SHADY: You think Tracy will fall for it Grandpa?
GRANDPA: Does the pope poop in the woods? Of course he will.
2-DT: So somebody found a box at the Siam and it had a card addressed to me?
SAM: Yeah. It seems a little early for Christmas presents though.
3-DT: Only one way to find out I guess. Let me know what you find when you open it Sam. Oh, and leave your coat in the car. I kind of like that fur collar. Not that anything might happen to it.
SAM: You sure you want me to tell you what you got?
DT: I’m kind of betting that it will be obvious from here. Maybe even from like a block or two away. Oh. Leave the keys. I gotta an errand to run…
The car on the left – presumably one of the two intended targets of the dynamite – has a (white) streak on the passenger side (shown both yesterday and today). Whose car could that be, assuming that it belongs to a crossover character? (Definitely not the Green Hornet’s LOL)
Okay. Target One: Tracy (how does Splitface recognize Tracy’s car among all similar squadcars?). Target Two shows up tomorrow, while Mike continues to tease with clues that sometimes seem contradictory over on that social networking site. It’s someone we’ve seen before. It’s the continuation of a previous story. It’s not a Tribune character (Warbucks and the rest of the Annie gang are Tribune). And, has the bomb been planted in/at the Siam’s Loading Zone? How did Splitface know his targets would park just there?…

Loading zone not loading dock. Loading zone is temporarily parking in front of the hotel for loading and unloading of passengers and their luggage.

What if Tracy gets out and Sam stays in the car?! Could this be the end for Sam?! I hope not.

The Wrist Genies may be configured with always on bomb detectors, but is that true of the 2-way Wrist Radios/TV’s?
