When I was in graduate school our student paper thought it would be “funny” to publish a fake map in our student newspaper one year telling freshmen, “Welcome to our new friends”. They mixed up all the buildings, even putting one down in the middle of the far off sports field. Apparently many of the freshmen were coming in late to their classes in tears. I think the paper had to issue an apology.
