None of it? Apparently he hasn’t been reading about antibiotics resistance. It’s even worse than they’re letting on.

Antibiotics resistance comes from the past, and leads to the future.

In today’s fast pace, it’s hard to see the long period cycles. The world population cycles reflect some of those diseases to which he alludes. True that modern medicine has put a kink in many of them; but it’s a crap shoot to keep finding a cure/vaccine. First and goal is a winner if you can score at a 25% rate. What if they played with ten downs inside the red zone? How many variation does a mutated virus get? Cancer starts with one cell just like we all did.

What might a 25% killing from a new unchecked plague do for world hunger?

None of it comes FROM the future, but the future comes TO you, in time.

Antibiotic resistance is real. Real bad, too. But it’s being worked on.

Vaccinations? That and epidemiology knocked out Polio. Now? ? ?

A world with antibiotic resistance and without enough people being vaccinated?

It’s what we have right now. Be afraid. Be VERY afraid.

http://www.gocomics.com/frazz/2019/11/21Ah, yes, there’s where the Shaun of the Dead shirt fits in. It’s amazing how many zombie movies are out there to choose from. I have to say, if humanity falls prey to disease, it will of course be a bad, bad thing. But the survivors will have an awfully hard time convincing each other it took us by surprise.
