(Changes text in center panel)…. At least you do not have to be subject to the impeachment hearings pre-empting your favorite TV shows. (now move to third panel).

Baby showers have become the most boring waste of time. Now I understand they have a pre- baby showers ….I want to scream! I know it’s an exciting time for the couple and the family but most people have been there, done that….along with wedding showers, when they say we’re going to play a game….I’m outta there.

Baby showers should go the way of ‘Thank You Cards’ for wedding gifts. I can’t remember the last time my wife and I got one of those.

Why would Wheeler have to go to a baby shower?

My mother recently passed and I was looking through an old photo album I’d never seen before. Imagine my surprise when I came across 3 photos from my baby shower! The dress my mother-to-be was wearing was a hoot – it looked like silver chiffon! And she apparently got some decent gifts but I was the first child of my generation in our family so the aunties were especially generous, at least for poor folk in the late ’50s.
