The “REAL” problem is, what to do about it. The 3rd world nations are moving to become 1st world (Increased energy use. Part of that is uses that use can only be supplied by fossil fuel.). If China and India do NOT clean up their act, it does not matter what the 1st world nations do, atmospheric CO2 will continue to increase. We can destroy our economy, but it will not make any difference. Probably, it does not matter what China and India do either.
