In case you didn’t know, Patty, microphones ARE adjustable, for just that purpose—lower the microphone so 1) you can speak into it, so the audience can hear you, and 2)naturally, also so Marcie will not have to hold you up to the mike.

Once again, a typical PeanutsVerse lapse in logic. Why wouldn’t the mic stand be already lowered for her, or someone give her a box or something to stand on?
