Peppermint Patty stands with a cast on her foot and says, "Until we fell off the stage!"<BR><BR>

“The honor that Patty and Marcie brought to OUR school—that is, until they fell off the stage!” Panel 4 is just HILARIOUS, and ALL BECAUSE of Patty not having known enough to adjust the microphone, so as to lower it and thus make herself heard, without Marcie’s help.

I gather Snoopy would have been the one to call an ambulance, for Patty and Marcie, once they had fallen off the stage. Well, either he or the teachers. Yes, I’m just kidding—I know what happened to the girls was the punchline of the strip.
