What was it, back in 2015, Stantis (Allee?) ran an arc of prairie dogs who burned Carmen in effigy for being a RINO.
It’s an arc that I’ve desperately waited for Scott (Eric?) to return to. And it’s not because I’m making fun of Republicans, either.
But the prairie dog episode seemed to capture what was going wrong with the Republican Party: All about winning, all about loyalty (to party) (Trump was not yet on top), and no room for freedom of thought.
If I listed the wrong year, this I remember: It was around Thanksgiving of the year that it appeared.
“The evidence is pretty damning … I would have voted to form the committee.” Yet yesterday, it was somehow the Democrats’ fault that Republicans once again voted in lockstep against the investigation. Stop trying to have it both ways, Scott. Maybe after Ambassador Sondland’s testimony today you’ll finally make up your mind. (Maybe we’ll even get another unexplained, unplanned trip to the hospital for Trump out of it!)
Yes, the evidence is damning. It confirms that the dems have abused power to push another hoax about Trump. The evidence about Schiff lying about the whistleblower and Vindman being the direct and primary source to the whistleblower is very damning.
Thats ok dems, keep praying (oops, sorry, atheists to use a trigger word). Your gonnaned thoughts and prayers to calm your sould as this continues to backfire and usher in an easy win for Trump in 2020.
Again, every Republican (even the RINOs) voted against this phony impeachment. Two dems joined them. When a final vote comes, even more dems will vote against articles of impeachment..
A former top White House official just outlined a quid pro more clearly than any other witness in the public impeachment hearings so far — and it’s devastating to Republicans’ defense of President Donald Trump.
Under questioning from Democrats, Tim Morrison, the former top National Security Council official for Russia and European affairs, was asked to recall a September 1 conversation between US Ambassador to the EU Gordon Sondland and Ukraine official Andriy Yermak.
That discussion has become central to the question of whether US military assistance to Kyiv was conditioned upon Ukraine opening investigations into former Vice President Joe Biden’s family and other Democrats.
According to Morrison, it clearly was.
“What did Ambassador Sondland tell you that he told Mr. Yermak?” Democratic counsel Daniel Goldman asked Morrison.
Morrison replied, “That the Ukrainians would have to have the prosecutor general make a statement with respect to the investigations as a condition of having the aid lifted.”
In other words, there was a quid pro quo.
To get roughly $400 million in aid to help fend off a Russian invasion, Ukraine needed to assist Trump in his 2020 presidential ambitions by opening a probe into Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company on whose board Hunter Biden — Joe’s son — sat.
Not only that, the government in Kyiv would have to announce the opening of the investigation.
FOX News latest take on the impeachment hearings? They’re not just fake, they’re boring, don’t waste your time watching. In other words, trust us, don’t find out for yourself…

The Trump Followers use “Republican In Name Only” for traditional Republicans, when THEY are the radicals who have co-opted the name.

You know the neighborhood
The talk is cheaper when the story is good
And the tales grow taller on down the line
But I’m telling you, dude
That I don’t think it’s true, dude
And even if it’s not keep this in mind
You take it on the run baby
If that’s the way you want it baby
Cause we don’t want you around
We don’t believe you, we don’t care for your world view
You’re under the gun so you take it on the run
